Esther’s Room

Painted in the cool shades of lavender, Esther’s Room located at the front of the Inn is the first room each morning to be greeted by the dawn’s early arrival. This room eastern exposure views look across the gentle hills and tree-lined paths of Halcomb’s Knob Farm. Named in honor of Esther Alexander, aka “Alex”, a WWII Women’s Army Corp (WAC) sergeant, whose service in the 1940’s is documented in the photos along the walls; Esther’s Room wraps the weary traveler in comfort. Awaken at first light each morning to watch the first rays of sunlight touch the Inn’s perennial gardens, blueberry patch, and small orchard; all from the comfort of your guest room.
