“A work-in-progress, our 30 acres of woodlands, native grasslands, spring-fed ponds, expansive vegetable gardens, and young orchard invites exploration by our visitors and guests. Visit with our onsite gardeners, take the opportunity to join one of our multitude of half or full day gardening workshops; culinary classes, or volunteer to work alongside our staff as we prepare the spring beds, harvest summer produce or winter seed the gardens. Halcomb’s Knob Farm makes your stay with us such a memorable and, in every sense of the word, a natural experience!”

Halcomb’s Knob gardens and orchard provide fresh herbs, vegetables, and fruit for our guests’ breakfasts AND are basic ingredients in our fresh yeast breads baked every Wednesday and Friday in the Knob’s Bakery. 2017 seasonal produce includes apples, blueberries, cherries, peaches, plums and raspberries and an array of vegetables  including Blue Lake bush beans, carrots, potatoes, summer squash, sweet peppers, tomatoes, and zucchini.
