Stroll among the perennial flower and heirloom vegetable gardens, sit beneath the blossoming apple, pear, peach, cherry or plum trees, or watch the bees buzz in a frantic pollination pace amidst the blueberry bushes and grape arbors. Take a walk down a woodland path or sit pond-side watching the exploding population of spring peepers (frogs), listening to their evening chorus. Home to a variety of native fauna and flora, Halcomb’s Knob Farm and its resident owners offer visitors the opportunity to explore and sample its array of on-farm products. We will be happy to prepare a sample of its produce for your at-home dining pleasure, all you need to do is ask!
A work-in-progress, our 30 acres of woodlands, native grasslands, spring-fed ponds, expansive vegetable gardens, and young orchard invites exploration by our visitors and guests. Visit with us in the garden or take the opportunity to join one of our multitude of half or full day gardening workshops and/or culinary classes or volunteer to work alongside as we prepare the spring beds, harvest summer produce or winter seed the gardens. Halcomb’s Knob Farm makes your stay with us such a memorable and, in every sense of the word, a natural experience!
